The AP Mega DSC 2025 is a significant recruitment initiative conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education through the District Selection Committee (DSC) under the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test (AP TRT). This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 16,347 teaching vacancies across various educational institutions, including government schools, Zilla Parishad schools, Mandal Parishad schools, municipal schools, and welfare schools.
It includes 6,371 Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) posts, 7,725 School Assistants, 1,781 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), 286 Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs), 52 Principals, 132 Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and 421 sports quota posts. SGTs focus on primary education, teaching foundational subjects.
